Rigid Mining Water Trucks
Our range of rigid mining truck water modules are designed and manufactured to suit a wide range Caterpillar and Komatsu models as well as other major OEM mining truck brands.
All SVA module design and manufacturing processes consider the actual working conditions of the mining applications the water truck will be operating in. Engineering analysis of the specific carrier chassis’ axle loadings throughout a range of grades ensure weight distribution is kept within the safe working limits specified by the truck OEM. Selection of the highest quality manufacturing materials and components ensure SVA modules provide safety to the operator and longevity to both the module and the truck.
Durability & Innovation
SVA water truck modules incorporate many unique features that are included in the standard specification of all our builds.

In addition to the many standard features, our modules are also offered with a wide range of optional extras for spray systems, water cannons, mesh access platform, water filling and evacuation, corrosion prevention, firefighting accessories and fleet identification.
Our standard and optional features allow us to tailor a module to suit any customer requirement.
Top of Tank Access System
– Uniquely SVA
One of the most unique features of the SVA Water Truck Module is the tank top access walkway extension (Patent 2009902405) which allows the operator safe access to the top of the tank, whilst improving visibility from the driver’s cab across the right side of the truck.
Removable Pump Frame
The SVA pump frame supporting the water pump and all spray bar pipe work is a bolt-on, removable frame mounted to the rear section of the tank subframe with built in fork lift pockets for ease of handling.
The frame has locating hooks to allow installation and final bolting without needing to work under a suspended load.
The water pump & hydraulic motor arrangement is mounted on a removable skid bolted to the pump frame assembly to be easily and safely removed for component change-out at ground level.
Chassis Compatibility
The SVA water truck module is designed to adapt to the carrier chassis in place of the factory dump tray. The module incorporates a robust under body structure that plays a crucial role in ensuring the tank shell is properly supported with full length support beams, original equipment body pads, and shims along with mountings to utilise the existing hoist system and body raised safety locks. The SVA control system includes an electrically operated hoist lock-out to prevent the tank being raised with water inside. These features allow safe service access to the truck chassis and drive train.
Split Pivot Clamps
The unique SVA designed split clamp arrangement allows installation and removal of the module without the risk of working under a suspended load.
Spray Systems
SVA rigid mining truck modules can be supplied to suit a range of spray systems to suit any customer requirement –
SVA’s ‘Intelligent Spray System’ features SVA designed spray heads which control water output relative to vehicle road speed. Utilizing SVA’s ISS spray system results in applying a constant film of water on the road surface regardless of the truck speed, as such the spray width stays constant preventing over watering.
SVA’s standard spray system consists of hydraulic double acting adjustable fan sprays operated by an electric over hydraulic control valve supplied by the trucks existing hoist cylinder pump.
Caterpillar’s Water Delivery System is easily adapted to the SVA module. We can provide a module arranged ready for Caterpillar dealers to install the CAT WDS components, commission and deliver.
3rd Party Systems are easily adapted to the SVA module. We can provide a module arranged ready for customer install the of 3rd party spray components for ease of set up.
