Rigid Mining Service Trucks

The SVA Fuel Service Module (FSM) range of heavy application service modules have been developed to allow complete flexibility in how it caters to the mining fleet. Our multi compartment tank layouts can be adapted to cater to the specific requirements of the fleet being serviced. Each module is comprised of individual tanks that can be linked to suit your servicing requirements.

Key features include:

  • Tank volumes can be combined or separated to customise capacities for oils, coolant, and waste oil recovery.

  • Diesel capacity can be optimised where demand dictates higher volumes.

Our innovative design allows the re-arrangement of capacities without structural changes to suit a variety of configurations. This is particularly suitable for contract mining and hire applications where servicing needs may change.

The FSM modules can be installed at our Perth premises, on your site or packaged and transported anywhere in the world. If you are looking for quality, performance and flexibility, SVA’s FSM range has you covered.

Chassis Compatibility

Our range of rigid mining truck service modules are designed and manufactured to suit Caterpillar, Komatsu and Haulmax models as well as other major OEM mining truck brands. Our unique hydraulic drive system is isolated from the truck’s hydraulic system.

All SVA module design and manufacturing processes consider the actual working conditions of the mining applications the service truck will be operating in. Engineering analysis of the specific carrier chassis’ axle loadings throughout a range of grades ensure weight distribution is kept within the safe working limits specified by the truck OEM. Selection of the highest quality manufacturing materials and components ensure SVA modules provide safety to the operator and longevity to both the module and the truck.

Split Mounting Clamps

Split clamp arrangements at the pivot points and cabinet-to-module connection provide quick and safe installation that do not require personnel to work under a suspended load. The module’s lift points are arranged to allow lifting with the rear cabinet installed or removed.

Product Pumping & Dispensing Equipment

The FSM range of modules’ pumping systems are designed for servicing performance to keep machine downtime to a minimum while ensuring operating reliability and safety. All modules feature:

  • Hydraulic retractable hose reels

  • Hydraulic driven oil pumping circuits delivering up to 70 L/min (100 L/min on request)

  • Hydraulic driven diesel pumping circuit delivering up to 800 L/min

  • Hydraulic driven grease pumping circuits

  • Grease heating for high efficiency dispensing

  • Hydraulic driven air-on-demand compressor

  • Pneumatic diaphragm pumps for coolant and waste

  • High-capacity product filtration

  • Low product level automatic pump shut-off to prevent pumps running dry

  • Overfill protection on module fill points

  • Level Monitoring

  • Product dispensing metering

Optional Inclusions:

  • Hydraulic driven high pressure wash system

  • Fold out high flow delivery fuel boom delivering up to 800 L/min

  • Diesel fill system capable of receiving at 2,500 L/min

High-Flow Fuel Boom

The high-flow fuel boom provides up to 800 L/min of diesel delivery for rapid refuelling of large dig units to maximise the production time of mining equipment. The swing out design of the boom is easily operated via a dead-man brake release control to allow the operator to quickly and safely set-up for dispensing.

Level Monitoring & Overfill Protection

Level monitoring provides the operator with a visual display of all product levels from the product dispensing cabinet, allowing the operator to understand individual product compartment levels during filling and dispensing.

The system controls high level shut-off to prevent overfilling of compartments, and low level shut-off of individual dispensing circuits to prevent dry-running of pumping components. The display is mounted inside a protective stainless steel cabinet.

Safe Maintenance Access

Regular maintenance tasks such as replacing system filters or tank top breathers are made easier by providing safe access, and our service body is designed with safe maintenance in mind. Tank top access is provided by a front access ladder leading to a fully enclosed tank top with perimeter handrails and clearly marked walkway surfaces. Likewise, the rear cabinet which contains all of the pumping equipment, features double doors to the full opening width with a fold down access ladder and work platform. This design eliminates any confined space requirements.

Module Hoisting Option

The FSM75 module can be supplied with an optional module hoisting system that allows access to the truck chassis in the event of a breakdown in the field. The system includes 2 x SVA designed and manufactured hoist cylinders operated from an independent electric/hydraulic power pack powered from the truck batteries. The cylinder stroke is suited to the module tilt travel limit and allows the module to be hoisted with a full product payload without the truck running.

The SVA hoist cylinders are double acting to power up and down to lock the module down for travel and incorporate a physical locking mechanism designed for the limited tilt angle. The cylinder mounts are designed with ease of removal and attachment to complement removing the module completely for major driveline work.

All of our rigid mining truck service modules can be packaged and shipped to anywhere in the world via Fremantle Port in Western Australia.
